Job summary
West Pharmaceutical Services Cornwall is seeking an experienced toolroom machinist to set and operate CNC/NC grinders, lathes, and mills across a 36-hour week in Bodmin. You will interpret engineering drawings, troubleshoot tooling, and support design and production teams.

Qualifications
- Formal engineering apprenticeship to NVQ3 level or equivalent.
- Desirable: HNC in Engineering Discipline.
Responsibilities
- Set & operate CNC/NC grinders including surface, centerless, cylindrical and jig grinders.
- Set & operate NC and manual lathes and mills.
- Set & operate EDM and WEDM machinery.
- Perform final assembly of new plastic and elastomer injection/compression molds and press tools.
- Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and modify existing tooling.
- Provide technical support to design teams, contractors, and production staff.
- Comply with Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality policies.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings; raise questions when needed.
