Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services Cornwall is seeking a CAM programmer to create, modify and verify 3, 4 & 5-axis CAM programs for CNC milling, while supporting CAD activity for elastomer and plastic moulds and tooling components. You will work with Global Design and production teams to ensure drawings, production documentation, and tool data are accurate and compliant with industry standards.

Applicants should have an engineering apprenticeship to NVQ3 or equivalent; minimum 3 years in

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience using SolidWorks.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify and verify CAM programs for 3, 4 & 5-axis CNC milling.
• Prepare, issue and control detailed production drawings and CAD data.
• Support CAD activity and interface with Global Design team and production staff.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Quality policies.
