Job summary

Northern Trust in the United Kingdom seeks a seasoned strategist to lead the operational support of the Third Party Management Office (TPMO). You will design, enhance, and implement program lifecycle areas, and ensure the multi-year plan is followed across global business units.

You will act as a subject matter expert on third-party risk, reporting, and gap analysis, while guiding regulatory alignment (UK PRA/FCA and US equivalents) and driving training materials and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5–10 years in financial services, internal audit, or risk consulting.
• Understanding of third-party risk management with program design experience.
• Knowledge of global risk regulatory requirements (US/UK).

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic design and operationalization of third-party risk management.
• Design enterprise-wide risk processes and manage rollout and maturity.
• Develop artifacts, risk methodologies, and reporting thresholds.
• Create gap analyses to identify risks and controls.
• Lead TPMO training and oversee program training.
• Monitor regulatory updates and advise on impact.
