Job summary

Owen Daniels is recruiting a Senior Thermal Design Engineer for a permanent role in Dorset. You will own complex thermal projects, develop heat exchanger designs for demanding applications and handover to manufacturing.

You will mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and lead engineering discussions with customers and internal teams to ensure solutions meet requirements and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in process/manufacturing environment.
• Strong thermal engineering and heat exchanger design experience.

Responsibilities

• Review customer data and develop thermal designs and quotations.
• Lead technical discussions with customers and stakeholders.
• Produce and approve engineering calculations and design packages for handover to manufacturing.
• Perform simulations and assess existing designs for ongoing projects.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers within the department.
