Owen Daniels in Dorset seeks a Junior Design Engineer to develop mechanical and thermal design skills within a specialist engineering environment. • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering or another relevant engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Approximately 1-2 years' experience within a mechanical, thermal, manufacturing or process engineering environment.
• A good understanding of mechanical design principles, with an interest in thermal engineering, heat transfer or engineered equipment.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and manage priorities.

We are working with a globally recognised engineering and manufacturing organisation specialising in the design and manufacture of advanced thermal technology for demanding industrial applications.

They are now looking to recruit a Junior Thermal / Mechanical Design Engineer to join their engineering team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with approximately 1-2 years' engineering experience who wants to build their technical capabilities, gain exposure to specialist engineering projects and develop their career within a highly technical design and manufacturing environment.

Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-5:00pm and Friday, 8:30am-2:00pm

The Role

Working alongside experienced engineers, you will receive guidance and support while developing your knowledge across mechanical design, thermal engineering and heat exchanger technology.

Your responsibilities will include:

About You
