Job summary

Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Senior Theatre Practitioner for Anaesthetics and Recovery. The role operates within a large NHS foundation trust providing complex neurosurgical and other procedures in Salford.

You will rotate between anaesthetics and recovery, ensuring a safe theatre journey with high-quality patient care. The post requires registration as an ODP or Nurse with relevant qualifications and a commitment to learning within a multidisciplinary team, with shifts

Qualifications

• Effective communication and collaborative working are essential to this role.
• Where development is required in either area, you will be expected to engage with the relevant training.
• You will work as part of the multidisciplinary theatre team, rotating between Anaesthetics and Recovery.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to delivering a safe, effective and seamless theatre service from admission to discharge.
• Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate individualised patient care across the Anaesthetics and Recovery pathways.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and communicate information promptly and appropriately.
