Job summary

Raytheon UK is hiring a Principal Test Development Engineer for our Glenrothes and Livingston sites. You will design, manufacture, verify and validate test equipment across board level to system level, working with hardware and software teams.

The role offers opportunities to mentor juniors and engage with customers while expanding your technical horizons. You will develop robust test systems for Control Actuation, Guidance Electronics and GPS Anti-Jamming technologies, with potential for career

Qualifications

• Experience designing test equipment for circuit cards, sub-assemblies and systems.
• Ability to document design specifications and implementation details.
• Proven handover and production ramp experience.
• Strong hardware troubleshooting and system integration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design functional test equipment for circuit cards, sub-assemblies and systems.
• Ensure overall quality of test equipment and participate in design reviews.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers and assist with resource planning.
• Document design specifications and implementation details.
