Job summary

QualityAI is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join a Digital Assurance & Productivity team supporting a leading UK bank. You will design, develop and maintain automated testing solutions and frameworks to improve test coverage and delivery.

You will work closely with developers, analysts and business stakeholders within an Agile environment, integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and contributing to automation strategy.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
• Experience with Selenium, Karate, SOAP UI and Postman.
• Programming/scripting experience using Python or Java.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and version control such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Experience working within an Agile environment and familiarity with Cucumber/BDD.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Define appropriate test coverage with developers and stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot automation failures and investigate defects.
