Job summary

Kier Group plc. in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Temporary Works Engineer to join our civil, structural and geotechnical team with locations across the UK and agile working arrangements, including up to one day per week from home.

You will lead the delivery of temporary works design and checking, review buildability of permanent designs, support tenders and preconstruction planning, and champion safety, sustainability and innovation across a diverse project portfolio.

Qualifications

• Practical grounding in civil, structural and geotechnical engineering principles.
• Knowledge of applicable design standards.
• IEng/CEng track or equivalent level of experience.

Responsibilities

• Producing, checking and reviewing design outputs such as calculations, sketches, drawings and reports while ensuring CDM, SHE and QA compliance.
• Acting as Project Lead for multiple projects, managing technical scope, programme, budget and stakeholder relationships.
• Developing the team and processes to enable continuous improvement and adaptability.
