Job summary

Kier Group plc seeks a Senior Temporary Works Advisor to join a nationwide team delivering construction engineering services and temporary works compliance. You will advise on the Group Temporary Works Standard, provide design and implementation guidance, and conduct compliance audits across multiple projects and frameworks.

You will support tender and bid activities, contribute to value engineering, and provide coordination and design management input as lead designer where required.

Qualifications

• Incorporated member of a relevant professional institution (e.g. IEng MICE) or significant experience in a similar role.
• Holding a full driving licence.
• Collaborative and able to build effective relationships across teams, clients and stakeholders.
• Trusted and committed to delivering what you promise while acting safely and ethically.
• Focused with a clear, disciplined and thorough approach to your work.

Responsibilities

• Advising on the effective implementation of the Group Temporary Works Standard and associated guidance
• Providing technical and practical advice on temporary works design and implementation
• Undertaking formal and informal temporary works compliance audits of projects and frameworks
• Supporting tender and bid winning activities including outline design schemes, feasibility studies, and value engineering
• Providing design management advice and coordination, acting as lead designer where required
