Job summary

Kier Design is seeking a Senior Temporary Works Advisor to support temporary works compliance across projects nationwide in the UK. You will advise on the Group Temporary Works Standard, provide design and practical guidance, and conduct audits to ensure compliance.

Role involves supporting tender activities and, when required, taking on lead design responsibilities. Based in locations nationwide, you will contribute to a large, high-profile portfolio with a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• Incorporated member of a relevant professional institution (e.g. IEng/MICE) or equivalent experience.
• Holder of a full driving licence.
• Collaborative by nature with ability to build relationships across teams, clients and stakeholders.
• Committed to delivering safe, ethical work and keeping promises.
• Focused, disciplined and thorough in approach.

Responsibilities

• Advise on implementing the Group Temporary Works Standard and guidance.
• Provide technical and practical advice on temporary works design and implementation.
• Undertake formal and informal temporary works compliance audits across projects.
• Support tender and bid activities including outline design schemes and value engineering.
• Provide design management advice and coordinate, acting as lead designer where required.
