Job summary

Kier Group plc. is seeking a Senior Temporary Works Advisor to join our team, delivering construction engineering support and temporary works compliance across multiple projects. You will advise on standards, provide design and audit guidance, and assist with tender activities and value engineering.

You will collaborate with clients and teams, maintain safety and ethical standards, and contribute as a lead designer where required, with a nationwide presence and a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Incorporated member of a relevant professional institution (IEng/MICE) or equivalent experience.
• Holding a full driving licence.
• Collaborative and able to build effective relationships across teams, clients and stakeholders.
• Trusted and committed to delivering what you promise while acting safely and ethically.
• Focused with a clear, disciplined and thorough approach to your work.

Responsibilities

• Advising on the effective implementation of the Group Temporary Works Standard and associated guidance.
• Providing technical and practical advice on temporary works design and implementation.
• Undertaking formal and informal temporary works compliance audits of projects and frameworks.
• Supporting tender and bid winning activities including outline design schemes, feasibility studies, and value engineering.
• Providing design management advice and coordination, acting as lead designer where required.
