Job summary

Octopus Energy Group is expanding its TechOps team with a Generalist role focused on multi-disciplinary enterprise IT. You’ll support employees, drive automation, and work with security to balance usability and protection.

We expect 5–7 years of deep IT experience and familiarity with Okta, Kandji, Zscaler, Meraki, and SSO protocols. The role supports flexible work arrangements (office-based or hybrid) across major UK offices, including for example London or Manchester, with salary bandings

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of solid enterprise IT experience.
• Experience implementing and customizing enterprise SaaS tooling.
• Deep knowledge of identity/access management and SSO technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support across the business to enable efficient work.
• Troubleshoot wide range of issues including network, device, and SSO problems.
• Collaborate with Security to balance security and productivity.
• Automate processes and build self-service solutions for users.
• Manage supplier relationships for SaaS and hardware; oversee procurement.
• Lead and manage complex technical projects with multiple stakeholders.
