Job summary

Allen Motor Group are recruiting a Senior Technician for our Ford dealership in Romford. You will provide technical and diagnostic service to ensure customer satisfaction and productivity targets are met.

The role offers a solid base salary of £32,152 with an OTE of £42,500 and a guarantee of £40,000 per year. Benefits include 30 days holiday, discounts on MOTs/services/parts, life assurance and more.

Qualifications

• Relevant formal qualification (City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3) as a minimum.
• UK driving licence is required.
• Experience inspecting, repairing and servicing motor vehicles.
• MOT tester qualification is highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and diagnostic service ensuring customer satisfaction and productivity targets are met.
• Maintain the highest level of technical knowledge and ensure manufacturer training compliance.
• Uphold company and manufacturer quality standards.
• Ensure 100% compliance with vehicle health check processes.

Job description

We're so confident about your earnings that we offer a guarantee for your first three months - you'll earn a minimum of £3333.33 per month (£40,000 pa, gross). When you earn more, we'll pay you more!

Allen Motor Group are currently looking to recruit a Senior Technician to join our Ford dealership in Romford.

This position is offered on a full-time working contract of 40 hours a week paying £32,152 with and an OTE of £42,500 reporting to the Aftersales Manager. Our average Vehicle Technician earnings were £42,500 last year, with our higher performing technicians earning on average £58,000!

As a vehicle technician you’ll have some key tasks and activities within your area of responsibility:

Provide technical and diagnostic service ensuring customer satisfaction and productivity targets are met and exceeded

Maintain the highest level of technical knowledge and ensure compliance with manufacturer training

Uphold company and manufacturer quality standards

Ensure 100% compliance with vehicle health check processes

Required Skills & Experience

To be considered for the position you will need to possess a relevant formal qualification (City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3) as a minimum. We are looking for individuals who possess the following attributes & skills:

A full UK driving licence

Experience of inspection, repair and servicing motor vehicles

MOT Tester qualification would be highly beneficial

Fantastic verbal and written English skills

Previous experience working in a franchised dealership (preferred but not essential)
