Job summary

Man Group in London is seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer to join the Tech Support team, ensuring stability and performance of business‑critical systems across front and back office.

You will conduct root cause analysis, resolve recurring issues, and drive automation and process improvements. The role includes leading non‑BAU projects, mentoring engineers, and acting as a high‑level escalation point for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast‑paced technical support environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with root cause analysis expertise.
• Experience in a similar role; financial services experience is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of network fundamentals including VPN and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Proficient in deploying and supporting Windows and macOS devices, including Apple and Android in an MDM environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced troubleshooting for Windows, macOS, VDI and mobile devices.
• Coordinate with 3rd line engineering teams to drive resolution of complex issues.
• Lead non‑BAU initiatives and project work.
• Mentor and support engineers within the team.
• Participate in on‑call support during weekends and bank holidays.
