Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Technical Supervisor to oversee technical delivery across a defined cluster of BT sites in Bedford. You will guide colleagues on mechanical and electrical systems, ensure safe, compliant operations, and respond rapidly to incidents while supporting the Area Operations Manager and Contract Support.

You will work closely with the BU Technical Services Manager to maintain high service standards, manage subcontractors, and ensure documentation and audits are up to date.

Qualifications

• Knowledge across mechanical, electrical, public health, water and gas with qualifications in at least one.
• Strong communication and customer-focused approach.
• Proven ability to lead frontline technical teams and manage performance.

Responsibilities

• Promote safe delivery of all activities across the cluster.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, quality and COSHH policies.
• Lead day-to-day management and supervision of FM colleagues and plan cover.
• Coordinate with TSMs and SMEs for support and standardisation.
• Provide first escalation point for maintenance and recruitment support.
• Deliver and coordinate cluster technical meetings and toolbox talks.
• Oversee operations, maintenance, repairs, and asset upkeep per contract requirements.
• Investigate faults and isolate issues, referencing engineers or specialists as needed.
• Manage maintenance delivery to BT specifications and CAFM data integrity.
• Support asset data accuracy, warranties and project handovers.
