We are working with a privately owned construction business with a turnover over £100m who are in current need of a Technical Services Manager to join the business. The type of work the business takes on is cut and carve, CAT A/B and refurb schemes, all consisting of values around £5m to £35m in value.

About the role of a Senior Technical Services Manager

The role will involve the chosen candidate to be involved in all stages of the 'cradle to grave' process. Pre-construction experience is ideal and will need to have the confidence and organisation of organising their own week. It will be working on two specific projects in Central London consisting of fit out, refurb, and cut and carve schemes. Good technical experience is needed, someone that understands process and be very good face to face in client meetings.

Responsibilities for a Senior Technical Services Manager

1. Oversee quality assurance and quality control
2. Manage client liaison and reporting
3. Take full responsibility from Tender to Completion of construction projects in varying value
4. Ensure timely delivery of services according to project scope and programme

You will be supported by the Head of Building Services, who has been with the business for the past 15 years and has over 20 years' experience in the refurbishment and fit out market. He is a prime example of the progression that this company can offer with the correct attitude and hard work being applied on a daily basis. His role is to oversee the M&E team of Technical Services Managers, but he still likes to take an active role in projects and has a genuine interest in developing the next generation of TSMs.
