Job summary

Everlinked Ltd is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to drive growth in complex 5-axis CNC machining work from enquiry to order. You will review drawings, estimate costs, and prepare competitive quotations while collaborating with programming, production and quality teams to ensure capacity and lead times are aligned.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in technical sales, estimating and costing for complex machined components.
• Track record in aerospace, F1, motorsport and defence sectors.
• Strong knowledge of 5-axis machining, materials and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Winning new business and growing existing accounts across aerospace, F1, motorsport and defence.
• Reviewing customer drawings, models and specifications to assess manufacturability and technical requirements.
• Estimating and costing complex machining projects accurately, including machining time, materials, tooling, finishing and outsourced processes.
• Preparing and submitting competitive quotations, balancing winning the work with protecting margin.
• Working closely with programming, production and quality teams to confirm capacity, lead times and process routes.
• Building strong relationships with customers, buyers and engineers, and acting as their technical point of contact.
• Managing the sales pipeline, following up quotations and converting enquiries into orders.
• Identifying new market opportunities and prospects, including through customer visits and industry events.
• Supporting contract review, pricing negotiations and customer feedback.
• Contributing to the commercial strategy of a business on a clear growth path.
