Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking an Applications Engineer to train and support customers across the UK on 5 Axis CNC Machines. The role involves on-site training, technical troubleshooting, and building strong customer relationships.

You will travel regionally with overnight stays as required, acting as the go-to specialist for complex CNC applications while benefiting from a company vehicle, quarterly bonuses, and clear progression paths.

Qualifications

• Experience setting/operating/programming 5 axis CNC machines.
• Ability to train operatives and provide on-site technical support.
• Willingness to travel across the UK for site visits.

Responsibilities

• Train operatives on 5 axis milling machines at customer sites.
• Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting.
• Answer queries and liaise with Sales on findings to strengthen client relations.
• Cover sites across the UK (regional patch with overnight stays).
• Provide personal-use company vehicle and ongoing product knowledge.
