Job summary
CV Technical Ltd in Milton Keynes is seeking a CNC Sales Executive / Sales Engineer to drive field-based account development, visiting engineering and manufacturing sites to identify opportunities and provide CNC machinery solutions.
The role offers full autonomy over diary, a mix of new business, account management and technical sales, and requires around 3 years' CNC sales or engineering background, with UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
Qualifications
- 3 years' experience within CNC sales, machine tool sales or technical engineering sales.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial mindset with a customer-focused approach.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites.
Responsibilities
- Developing new and existing customer relationships.
- Regularly visiting customer sites across the region.
- Identifying and following up on new sales opportunities.
- Understanding customers' CNC and machining requirements.
- Providing technical advice and recommending suitable solutions.
- Preparing quotations and managing opportunities through to completion.
- Building long-term relationships with engineering and manufacturing businesses.
- Managing your own diary and customer visits with autonomy.
- Working closely with internal technical and engineering teams.
- Keeping up to date with CNC machinery and manufacturing technologies.
