Job summary

Sapien are seeking a highly experienced Technical Programme Manager to lead complex engineering programmes within the gas turbine and turbomachinery sector for our client in the Derby area.

This is a very senior technical leadership position requiring significant industry experience. The successful candidate must have extensive gas turbine and turbomachinery experience and a proven track record in leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and delivering programmes from concept to delivery.

Qualifications

• 15+ years' engineering or programme experience.
• Extensive gas turbine/turbomachinery experience.
• Senior technical leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex engineering programmes from concept through delivery.
• Own scope, budget, schedule, resources, and risk.
• Lead 10–20 engineers across disciplines.
• Provide technical direction and decision-making.
• Develop and manage SOWs, bids and cost models.
• Coordinate with customers and senior stakeholders on requirements and progress.
