Job summary

Sapien Engineering in Surrey is seeking a Contract Project Manager with gas turbine experience to support a client project that is already four months into delivery. The role emphasises coordination across Technical Project Managers and the wider project team, ensuring plans, milestones and deliverables remain on track.

The position requires strong planning, communication and delivery discipline. You will manage risks, dependencies and issues, provide clear status updates, and ensure alignment

Qualifications

• PM experience in engineering or industrial sectors.
• Direct gas turbine experience is essential.
• Experience coordinating multiple project workstreams.
• Strong planning, tracking and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to drive actions and maintain delivery focus.
• Clear, structured communication and project control.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities across Technical Project Managers and wider project team.
• Maintain project plans, milestones, actions and key deliverables.
• Track progress against programme and identify slippage or issues.
• Follow up actions and ensure owners and deadlines are clear.
• Coordinate technical, engineering, procurement and other activities.
• Identify risks, dependencies and issues and elevate when needed.
• Support project meetings and provide status updates.
• Maintain alignment between technical workstreams and project objectives.
• Help ensure the project remains on programme and deliverables are achieved.
