Job summary

Quest Global seeks an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead complex Gas Turbine component programmes across MRO, repair development, manufacturing and supply chain. You will drive end-to-end execution, interfacing with engineering, manufacturing and suppliers, while managing governance and multi-stakeholder expectations.

The role requires strong domain expertise in gas turbines, proven programme governance capability, and a track record of delivering multi-stream engineering projects

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of technical programme or project management experience in Gas Turbines, Aerospace, Energy or Industrial Turbomachinery.
  • Experience delivering programmes for Gas Turbine System OEMs.
  • Strong understanding of gas turbine engine architecture and component lifecycle management.
  • Knowledge of aerofoil manufacturing and repair processes.
  • Experience with FPQ, FAI, PPAP, PLQ, NPI, APQP, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma.
  • Programme Governance and PMO experience.
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
  • Ability to recover and turnaround complex programmes.
  • Ability to manage multi-million-pound technical programmes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end programme delivery for gas turbine components across MRO, repair development, manufacturing and supply chain.
  • Serve as primary interface between engineering, manufacturing, quality, suppliers and executive stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong governance and engage with OEMs, repair vendors and global teams.
  • Communicate clearly with customers and build technical rapport with stakeholders.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead and deliver complex Gas Turbine component programmes involving aerofoils, blades, vanes, combustor and hot gas path components across MRO, repair development, manufacturing and supply chain environments. This project is part of reverse engineering program for a leading Gas Turbine Services client.

The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end programme leadership, driving technical, commercial and operational execution across multiple workstreams while serving as the primary interface between engineering, manufacturing, quality, suppliers and executive stakeholders.

The role requires strong gas turbine domain expertise, programme governance capability, and proven experience managing complex component delivery challenges across OEMs, repair vendors and global engineering teams.

Ability to communicate clearly, without ambiguity with customer stakeholders as well as the internal team, is a very important quality desired in the candidate. This has to be supported by an ability to build technical rapport with customer.

Work Experience
Required Skills (Technical Competency)
  • 10+ years of technical programme or project management experience. Proven experience within: Gas Turbines, Aerospace, Energy or Industrial Turbomachinery
  • Experience delivering programmes for Gas Turbine System OEMs
  • Strong understanding of gas turbine engine architecture and component lifecycle management.
  • Knowledge of aerofoil manufacturing and repair processes.
  • Experience with FPQ,FAI,PPAP,PLQ,NPI,APQP,Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma
  • Programme Management
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated programme recovery and turnaround capability.
  • Strong PMO and governance experience.
  • Ability to manage multi-million-pound technical programmes.
  • Experience in manufacturing process planning for bladed components such as Turbine blades, Compressor blades and Vanes
  • A good knowledge of inspection methods and some knowledge of material associated with Turbine blades, Compressor blades and Vanes
  • Ability to build strong relations with customers, internal team and other stake holders.
