Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment seeks a Technical Program Manager to join our PlayStation developer tools team. You will plan, define processes, monitor progress and coordinate releases across UK/Ireland teams, with stakeholders in the US and Japan.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant project management experience.
• Experience managing multiple software development projects with medium to high complexity and distributed teams.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on schedule.
• Experience managing multiple software development projects in parallel.
• Experience delivering change management or standardisation initiatives.
• Experience working with Agile software development methodologies (e.g. Scrum).
• Strong software engineering background with practical hands-on experience.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Project management qualification (PMI, APM or equivalent) would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate software development, testing and release activities with the Software Engineering Manager.
• Create project plans for software projects contributing to the PlayStation developer platform.
• Coordinate stakeholders to align on objectives, milestones and quality expectations.
• Coordinate product testing activities with QA colleagues.
• Report progress cross-functionally and to senior executives.
• Manage internal projects to balance internal improvement initiatives with external delivery commitments.
• Contribute to improving project management and software development practices.
