Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment in London is seeking a Technical Program Manager to coordinate software development, testing and releases across UK/Ireland teams and partner sites in the US and Japan.

You will create project plans, manage stakeholders, track milestones and mitigate risks while driving continuous improvement of TPM processes. A strong software engineering background and agile experience are required; travel may be occasional.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience.
• Experience managing multiple software development projects with distributed teams.
• Experience delivering projects on schedule.
• Experience managing parallel software development projects.
• Experience delivering change management or standardisation initiatives.
• Experience with Agile software development (Scrum).
• Strong software engineering background with hands-on experience.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Project management certification (PMI, APM or equivalent) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate software development, testing and release activities.
• Create project plans for PlayStation developer platform projects.
• Coordinate stakeholders to align on objectives, milestones and quality expectations.
• Coordinate product testing with QA team.
• Report progress to senior executives.
• Manage internal projects to balance internal improvements with external delivery.
• Contribute to improving project management practices.
