Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Technical Manager for a specialist manufacturing business near Plymouth. You will oversee operations from the workshop through to commercial activities, and lead a team of over 40 staff while supporting the General Manager.

This senior role offers the chance to progress to General Manager, with dedicated training in metrology and CMM, and a 39-hour week with early Friday finish to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Managerial experience in a manufacturing or similar technical environment.
• Mechanical or manufacturing background.
• Highly motivated and looking for a high level of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing business functions from the workshop through to commercial operations.
• Managing and developing a team of over 40 staff.
• Supporting the General Manager with the day-to-day running of the business.
