Overall Expectations (roles/responsibilities):

• Work with ForgeRock Directory Services, including Multi Master replication setup, configuration, schema management, password policies, access control lists, and enforcing uniqueness.
• Manage SSL certificates (LDAPs), renewals, and support middleware application configurations.
• Develop and deploy scripts for daily operations and automate tasks using DevOps tools.
• Patching and deploying Directory Services using containerized solutions with DevOps tools.
• Utilize JIRA/Confluence for service desk tickets and documentation, along with AWS cloud and internal Kubernetes containers.
• Engineer global-scale Application Identity Management solutions supporting tens of millions of users and entries across business units and geographies.
• Provide technical guidance and Level 2 and 3 support for ForgeRock Directory Services, ensuring deployment consistency through automation and configuration management.
• Create documentation for other engineers and support crisis calls across global regions, including weekend L3 support.

Essential Technical Skills:

• Experience in automation scripting (Shell, PERL, Python) and DevOps technologies (Git, Jenkins, Nexus).
• Deep expertise in LDAP(S), HTTP(S), SSL/TLS, Kerberos, SAML, JWT protocols and related technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Unix systems.
• Experience providing production support, troubleshooting LDAP issues, and engaging vendors for solutions.
• Experience with product lifecycle management, including patching and technology updates.
• Knowledge of middleware disciplines (Web Servers, Application Servers, Messaging, Application Lifecycle Management) is highly desirable.
• Understanding of load balancers, proxy services, cloud technologies (AWS, GCP), and containers is advantageous.
• Experience with mission-critical Identity Management infrastructure components such as ForgeRock Suite (DS, AM, IDM) and web/mobile authentication and authorization on a global scale, including multi-master topologies and replication.
