Job summary

10:10 Games in Warrington is seeking a Senior Technical Designer to lead the design, prototyping, and implementation of interactive gameplay systems using UE5. You'll work within a multi-skilled Technical Design team alongside animation, art, and design specialists.

You will mentor others, collaborate with Design and Engineering to optimize systems, and ensure efficient C++ class usage while upholding best practices and performance.

Qualifications

• Professional experience as a Senior Technical Designer on at least one shipped Unreal-based project.
• Strong cross-team communication skills.
• Understanding of keyframe animation fundamentals and rigging in UE5, Maya, Blender or similar.
• Experience with mentoring & guiding other team members.
• Keen eye for detail and interest in art.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype & implement interactive gameplay systems & mechanics using UE5 tech.
• Collaborate with Design & Engineering to ensure systems fit designs and perform well.
• Mentor and guide other technical designers to raise technical understanding across disciplines.
• Ensure efficient use of C++ classes, components & functions with best practices.
