Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking a Technical Design Lead to support Grid and Project Development teams across EU. The role offers hybrid work within a dynamic renewable project environment and scope for growth into new markets.

You will lead power system network design, feasibility studies and value engineering, coordinating with ICP/BoP contractors and internal teams to deliver robust electrical solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical network design for renewable projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects related to power system network design including application, negotiations, and support teams up to financial close.
• Lead engineering feasibility studies and optimising engineering solutions.
• Review contractor design and engineering deliverables for quality and compliance.
• Carry out power/electrical system studies including performance, transient and dynamic stability.
• Develop power system design network from 400kV down to LV for decision making.
• Support business development with technical-economic tender analyses.
• Assist project delivery during design, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Ensure technical queries are correctly assessed and responded to.
• Lead on technical design standards and practices using BIM, Digital Twins, etc.
• Review third-party deliverables and ensure alignment with project goals.
