Job summary

Daintta Ltd is seeking a Technical Consultant to deliver specialist design, build and assurance in complex, secure environments for government clients. You will translate operational needs into scalable, secure-by-design solutions and support governance and lifecycle activities.

The role emphasizes collaboration across disciplines, working with defence and public-sector programmes, cloud platforms, and modern development methodologies in fast-growing, values-driven teams in London.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Expertise in one or more: Solution Architecture, Software development, Telecommunications & networking, Cyber Security and/or Data Science.
• Security architecture and secure-by-design principles.
• Technical governance, design assurance, risk management and lifecycle planning.
• Configuration/change management, technical documentation and stakeholder communication.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience on systems in defence, security, policing or central government.
• Experience delivering or assuring complex systems and technology-enabled services.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise across technology, engineering and architecture disciplines aligned to engagement needs.
• Develop or contribute to technical artefacts: requirements, designs, architectures, interface definitions, plans and assurance docs.
• Translate business and operational needs into practical technical solutions and recommendations.
• Support design, development, integration, testing, transition and operation of technology solutions.
• Assess options, risks, dependencies and trade-offs with clear stakeholder recommendations.
• Ensure solutions meet architecture, engineering, security, assurance, regulatory and industry standards.
• Collaborate with business, delivery, engineering, architecture, security and ops teams to resolve challenges.
• Contribute to technical governance, design reviews, assurance and lifecycle activities.
