Job summary

Daintta is a rapidly growing team working with UK public sector and defence clients to strengthen cyber resilience. We seek Cyber Security Consultants at all levels to shape secure, resilient solutions for next-generation defence capabilities.

You will combine technical expertise with strategic insight to address evolving threats, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and contribute to business growth in a dynamic, values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Strong background in defence or intelligence, government or industry.
• Understanding of UK Defence, National Security & Government security requirements.
• Knowledge of contemporary cyber threats and state-based adversaries.
• Experience in secure/classified environments.
• Familiarity with defence security policies and frameworks such as JSP 440, JSP 604, and Secure by Design.

Responsibilities

• Cyber Security Advisory across defence programmes.
• Cyber Strategy Development for next-generation defence programmes and operating models.
• Risk management and cyber assurance activities with mitigations and impact analysis.
• Threat modelling to assess and improve system resilience.
• Support secure adoption of Next Generation Technologies (e.g., cloud, data-centric capabilities).
• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted partner with stakeholders.
• Translate technical concepts into business language for senior audiences.
• Deliver high-quality work to agreed timelines and leverage team support.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and defence trends to maintain security lead.
• Support growth of the Defence portfolio and contribute to business development.
