Job summary

Daintta seeks a Cyber Security Technical Manager to lead client engagements, design secure networks and systems, and drive security by design across government-focused projects in the UK.

You will oversee threat modelling, risk assessment, and security assurance activities, while guiding teams through modern security controls, identity principles, and vendor due diligence in fast-moving public sector environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cyber security engineering, architecture or assurance with client-facing experience.
• Proven delivery of cyber security projects and engagements.
• Experience across multiple security domains and frameworks mentioned.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements as cyber security authority.
• Develop and implement security management strategies with a UK Secure by Design approach.
• Perform threat modelling and risk assessments for secure systems.
• Coordinate third-party and supply chain security assessments and due diligence.
• Apply zero-trust and identity-led security principles in designs and operations.
• Define security policy, standards and guardrails and ensure alignment with client needs.
