Job summary

Daintta, a rapidly growing cyber security consultancy, seeks a Technical Security Consultant to design, build and secure networks and systems for UK government and public sector clients. You’ll work across governance, risk, and technical delivery with a focus on secure by design, zero trust and modern cloud platforms.

Hybrid work in London with 2-3 days in the office or on client sites; you will engage with multiple stakeholders, drive security outcomes, and shape our delivery capabilities while

Qualifications

• Relevant and recent practical experience in cyber security engineering, architecture, design or technical assurance.
• Experience delivering technical client engagements across cyber security projects.
• Understanding of technical controls and business risk.
• Experience embedding security into agile, DevSecOps and iterative delivery models.
• Experience with security frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST, NCSC CAF or JSP 440.
• Clearance at SC or above or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing security management strategies for UK Gov't Secure by Design.
• Selecting and adapting security control frameworks.
• Identifying security requirements and proposing secure systems.
• Performing threat modelling and risk assessments.
• Ensuring security principles across planning, design, testing, deployment and operations.
• Supporting third-party and supply chain security assessments.
