Job summary

Daintta Ltd is expanding its cyber security team in the UK, seeking a Technical Manager to lead engagements with government clients. You will design, document and support secure networks and systems, guiding teams through secure architectural decisions and assurance activities.

You will apply zero-trust, identity-led security and risk-based controls, aligning with ISO27001, NIST and NCSC guidance while driving high-quality outcomes for public sector projects.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of practical experience in cyber security engineering, architecture, design and technical assurance in client-facing engagements.
  • Led technical client deliveries and teams across cyber security projects.
  • Experience across Security Architecture, Security Operations, IAM, Cloud security, Network/Application security and DevSecOps.
  • Experience embedding security into agile and iterative delivery models with risk-based design reviews.
  • Knowledge of ISO27001, NIST, NCSC CAF, JSP 440 or equivalents.
  • Demonstrable continuous professional development with relevant certifications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills at business and technical levels.
  • UK security clearance at SC or above or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

  • Lead client engagements as the cyber security technical authority.
  • Develop and implement security management strategies addressing risk and control requirements.
  • Select and adapt appropriate security frameworks for client solutions.
  • Identify security requirements and design proportionate secure systems.
  • Perform threat modelling and risk assessments to build a holistic threat picture.
  • Ensure secure design across planning, design, testing, deployment and operations.
  • Lead third-party and supply chain security assessments and due diligence.
  • Apply identity-led and zero-trust principles including strong authentication and least privilege.
  • Define and review security assurance activities and audit evidence.
  • Develop information security policy, standards and guardrails.
  • Monitor market trends and advise on business strategy impacts.
  • Engage with stakeholders to tailor security to client needs and milestones.
  • Deliver high-quality work and adapt to new client environments.
  • Lead client presentations and contribute to company growth.
  • Represent the company values: Transparency, fairness, and daring.
