Marsh in Norwich seeks a Claims Handler (or Senior Claims Handler) for a hybrid role requiring three days in the office weekly. The role is technical, handling large, complex, global insurance contracts with multiple insurers and high-value placements.

You will manage new claims, negotiate settlements, and interpret policy wordings to secure optimal outcomes for clients while meeting client SLAs. Experience in claims is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in handling insurance claims is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach.
• Ability to interpret policy wordings for settlements.

Responsabilités

• Receive, handle and manage new claim notifications and updates.
• Negotiate with insurers to achieve cost-effective settlements for clients.
• Review and interpret policy wordings for best settlements.
• Meet standards of accuracy, service, and performance targets per client SLAs.
• Case-manage complex or contentious claims to resolution.
