Job summary
National Grid in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Senior Technical Assistant to support the Power Quality & Dynamic Performance (PQDP) Team. Based at the Warwick office with flexible hybrid working, you will coordinate power quality monitoring campaigns and manage data to support transmission network assessments.
You will deploy instruments, collect and quality-check data, and collaborate with engineers, site staff and customers.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate installation and retrieval of power quality monitoring equipment.
- Work with Power System Engineers to identify monitoring requirements for connections and network investigations.
- Arrange site access and installation activities with site engineers.
- Maintain an inventory of monitoring equipment and ensure it is available and functional.
- Support troubleshooting of monitoring equipment and site installation issues.
- Download and manage data from monitoring equipment.
- Perform basic quality checks and organise measurement data for analysis.
- Produce datasets for harmonic and voltage quality assessments.
