Job summary

Rockstar Games in Leeds is seeking a Senior Technical Artist: Procedural Art to join our in-house studio. You will design, develop, and support tools and pipelines used by artists across Art, Animation, and VFX teams.

You will implement automated solutions for data processing, stay abreast of new tech, and contribute to next-gen procedural workflows. The role is full-time, on-site at our Leeds studio, offering opportunities to impact large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Artist, Technical Director, Tools Programmer, or similar.
• Experience developing tools for DCCs like Houdini, Zbrush, Agisoft, or Metashape.
• Experience working through a full game production cycle or long-term project.
• A strong understanding of Photogrammetry workflows and software.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with build systems like Jenkins, Airflow, or Celery.
• An understanding of a 3D asset pipeline and color management.
• Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
