Job summary

Sports Interactive is seeking a Senior Technical Artist to join the Art & Animation team at Here East, London. You will drive technical excellence across workflows, pipelines, and tooling, bridging Art and Engineering to deliver high-quality visuals and scalable content systems.

The role requires broad Technical Art experience, Unity proficiency, and a passion for mentoring others, optimizing performance, and collaborating across disciplines. Hybrid working 2–3 days in studio.

Qualifications

• Strong Technical Art fundamentals across multiple areas (shaders, rendering, scripting, optimization, content pipelines).
• Unity experience and ability to balance visual quality with performance.
• Ability to mentor teammates and communicate across Art, Animation, Graphics and Engineering.
• Experience building scalable, maintainable workflows rather than one-off solutions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and solve complex technical challenges across the Art & Animation team.
• Improve production workflows, graphical quality, and development efficiency.
• Collaborate with artists, engineers, and production to optimize pipelines.
• Support shader development, rendering workflows, procedural systems, and runtime implementation.
• Define and maintain Technical Art standards and best practices.
