Sports Interactive in London is seeking a Senior Technical Artist to join the Art & Animation team. The role focuses on driving technical excellence by improving workflows, developing scalable solutions, and supporting high‑quality visuals and content pipelines across disciplines.

You will bridge Art and Engineering, mentor peers, shape pipelines, optimize performance, and contribute to cross‑team delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong Technical Art fundamentals across multiple areas, driving quality and collaboration.
• Advanced experience in shaders, rendering, procedural workflows, scripting, or content pipelines.
• Experience with Unity and balancing visual quality with performance.

Responsibilities

• Drive improvements across content pipelines, workflows, tools, and technical processes.
• Develop scalable technical solutions to improve efficiency and quality.
• Support shader development, rendering workflows, and runtime implementation.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and propose optimization solutions.
• Collaborate with Graphics and Engineering to align artistic goals with technical constraints.
• Support tools, automation, and pipeline improvements across Art & Animation.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Technical Artists and adjacent disciplines.
• Assist sprint planning and cross-discipline delivery discussions.
• Define and maintain Technical Art standards and best practices.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
