Lighthouse Games in Leamington Spa, UK, is seeking a Principal Vehicle Technical Artist to lead the technical vision for our in-game vehicles. You will bridge art and engineering, define scalable workflows, and help the Vehicle Art team deliver industry-leading vehicle quality.

You will own major technical challenges, mentor peers, shape pipelines, and collaborate across disciplines in a hybrid studio. Experience with Unreal Engine and real-time content pipelines is essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Technical Artist in game development at Principal/Lead level.
• Deep understanding of vehicle content, production pipelines and real-time vehicle challenges.
• Ability to design and implement scalable tools and workflows improving production.
• Expert knowledge of real-time engines, preferably Unreal Engine, and content integration.
• Strong communication and collaboration to define technical strategy.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical strategy for vehicle content, pipelines and workflows.
• Identify and solve technical challenges affecting vehicle quality and efficiency.
• Architect scalable systems across multiple vehicles for long-term needs.
• Lead development of tools/workflows for efficient content creation and integration.
• Establish best practices for vehicle creation, validation and optimization.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship across the Vehicle Art team.
