Amiqus Games is partnering with a Sheffield-based Console Studio to hire a Senior Technical Artist to bridge art and engineering, optimise the pipeline and drive rendering and tools for a high-end title. The role supports hybrid or remote work in the UK, on a 3-month fixed-term contract with potential extension.
You’ll work closely with the Head of Art on character realism, rendering, lighting and performance challenges.
Senior Technical Artist - Console/PC Studio – Hybrid or Remote
We have partnered with a Console Studio based in Sheffield, who are currently looking for a Senior Technical Artist to join their growing team to help work on their next project. The team are made up of award-winning developers who have come from AAA backgrounds and have a history of releasing a range of high-quality games, some of which have been adored in the games industry over the years.
As the Senior Technical Artist, you will collaborate heavily with the Head of Art, to help with bridging the gap between artists and engineers, ensuring an efficient art pipeline and optimised game. You’ll also help with building art pipelines, shaders, tools, optimization, rendering, lighting, materials, animations and scene setup to name a few! The most important thing, is someone who has worked closely with Characters, helping achieve human realism when it comes to human movement and combat.
As the Senior in this team, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills and wear multiple hats, if you are a tools/pipeline/hardware/graphics specialist or a generalist, there will be an opportunity to develop your disciplines and skills.

This is a 3-month FTC with the possibility of being extended or being made permanent. We can consider fully remote candidates (currently based in the UK), however the preference is hybrid working.
