Job summary

Opus Recruitment Solutions Limited seeks a Senior Technical Architect for a Public Sector Hybrid Discovery Phase Programme. Start ASAP with 10 weeks’ initial discovery and a potential extension to 2 years. The role is inside IR35, with remote work and occasional onsite visits to a local office.

You will lead architectural governance, craft cloud-native patterns (AWS/Azure), and align security, data, and integration strategies with governance boards.

Qualifications

• Extensive enterprise architecture experience in public sector environments.
• Proven cloud design across AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Security architecture expertise including IAM, OAuth2/OIDC, and encryption.
• Experience advising executives and governance boards on architecture.

Provided technical leadership and architectural governance for a large-scale public sector discovery focused on enabling secure data sharing and integration across multiple external organisations.
