Identify Solutions is seeking an experienced Technical Architect to support a major public sector transformation programme during a Discovery phase. You will work with the customer to understand their current technical and data landscape, assess options, and recommend the most appropriate future architecture.

The role emphasizes Azure, modern data platforms and AI-enabled solutions, with a focus on data movement, architectural options, and independent guidance for a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical or solution architecture across complex environments.

• Ability to perform discovery and technical options assessments.
• Experience in regulated or public sector environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess current systems, services, integrations and architecture.

• Define and evaluate future-state architectures.
• Assess AI-enabled technology approaches.
• Produce clear architectural recommendations and rationale.
• Collaborate with Data Architecture, Service Design, BA and Delivery colleagues.
• Provide independent technical advice rather than implementing a predetermined solution.

Technical Architect | Azure, Data & AI | Public Sector

We’re looking for an experiencedTechnical Architect to support a major public sector transformation programme during an initial Discovery phase.

This is not a role where the technology solution has already been decided. You’ll work with the customer to understand their current technical and data landscape, assess options, and recommend the most appropriate future architecture.

The programme has a strong data focus, so we’re particularly interested in Technical Architects with extensive experience across Azure, modern data platforms, and AI-enabled solutions.

What you’ll be doing

• Assessing current systems, services, integrations and architecture
• Understanding how data moves across a complex technology estate
• Leading technical options assessments across multiple use cases
• Defining and evaluating potential future-state architectures
• Assessing different technology approaches, including AI-enabled options
• Producing clear architectural recommendations and the rationale behind them
• Working closely with Data Architecture, Service Design, BA and Delivery colleagues
• Providing independent technical advice rather than implementing a predetermined solution

We're looking for experience across

Previous experience within financial regulation or other regulatory environments would be particularly useful, but isn't essential.
