Job summary

Ubisoft is a global leader in gaming, seeking a Senior Technical Animator for the Rainbow Six brand to design and build rigging systems for AAA assets. You’ll translate mock-ups into high-quality visualisations and ensure cohesive character visuals across features.

You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, mentor artists, and contribute to storytelling through realistic character movement, with on-site collaboration in a dynamic studio environment.

Qualifications

• A portfolio/showreel consisting of Character Rigging, ideally with deformation and scene structures.
• Working knowledge of industry-standard 3D software, such as 3DS Max or Maya.
• 3D Modelling experience.
• Ability to mentor Artists and Animators.
• Attention to detail.
• Ideally, experienced in a full development life-cycle.

Responsibilities

• Design and build rigging systems for high-quality assets.
• Translate mock-ups into integrated visualisations for production guidance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain cohesive visual style for gameplay character elements.
• Mentor and motivate Animators & Riggers, and participate in peer reviews.
