Job summary

Ubisoft Reflections in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Rigger to design and build rigging systems for high-quality character assets. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive visual style, focusing on skinning, physics, and modelling to bring AAA worlds to life.

You’ll mentor Artists and Animators, translate mock-ups into integrated visualisations, and contribute to the Rainbow Six franchise’s legacy.

Qualifications

• Portfolio/showreel demonstrating Character Rigging with deformation and scene structures.
• Working knowledge of industry-standard 3D software, including 3DS Max or Maya.
• 3D Modelling experience is required or highly desirable.
• Ability to mentor Artists and Animators within a team.
• Excellent attention to detail across rigs and characters.
• Ideally experienced in a full development life-cycle.

Responsibilities

• Design and build rigging systems to support high-quality assets.
• Translate mock-ups into high-quality integrated visualisations.
• Guide production and inspire the wider art team.
• Mentor Artists and Animators to raise technical quality.
• Ensure cohesive visual style across features and characters.
• Focus on gameplay character elements like skinning, physics, and modelling.
