Job summary

FTI Consulting is seeking a Senior Consultant for its EMEA Private Equity team in London to drive technology due diligence and value creation across pursuing deals. You’ll assess architecture, cybersecurity posture, and platform readiness, and partner with CTOs and CIOs to deliver fast, high‑impact transformations.

In this hands‑on role you’ll work with PE funds and portfolio company leadership, define separation plans, and help ensure Day 1 readiness.

Qualifications

Experience in technology consulting, IT due diligence, software engineering, product management, or IT transformation.
Familiarity with modern tech stacks, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and product roadmaps.
Experience working with or advising PE-backed businesses.

Responsibilities

Technology Due Diligence: Evaluate architecture, infrastructure, product roadmap, cybersecurity posture, and technical debt.
Value Creation & Tech Modernisation: Identify automation, cloud migration, and platform consolidation opportunities.
Sign-to-Close: Define IT TSAs and separation requirements; build Day 1 readiness plans for infrastructure, access, data, and security.
Post-Deal Integration / Separation: Lead carve-out IT builds, system migrations, or integration of platforms; work with CTOs, CIOs, and engineering leads to deliver change.
