Job summary

FTI Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Senior Consultant for its EMEA Private Equity team in the Greater London area. You will assess performance, identify upside, and drive change at pace by partnering with portfolio company leadership on technology and operations improvements.

The role is hands-on, fast-moving and exposes you to IT due diligence, tech modernization and day‑1 readiness planning in a deal-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in technology consulting, IT due diligence, software engineering, product management, or IT transformation.
• Familiarity with modern tech stacks, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and product roadmaps.
• Experience working with or advising PE-backed businesses.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate architecture, infrastructure, product roadmaps, cybersecurity posture and technical debt.
• Identify scalability constraints, failure points and hidden cost drivers.
• Quantify required investment to support growth plans and value creation.
• Lead IT separation or post-deal integration activities with CTO/CIO leadership.

You will work directly with leading Private Equity funds and portfolio company leadership to assess performance, identify upside, and deliver change at pace.This is a hands‑on, high‑visibility role for individuals who thrive in fast‑moving deal environments and enjoy solving complex operational and technology challenges under pressure.What You’ll DoTechnology Due Diligence:Evaluating architecture, infrastructure, product roadmap, cybersecurity posture, and technical debt.Identifying scalability constraints, single points of failure, and hidden cost drivers.Quantifying required investment (capex/opex) to support the growth plan.
