Job summary

Next Frontier Capital is seeking a Tech Risk & Controls Lead to own identification and mitigation of technology risk, focusing on regulatory compliance and governance across the firm. You will partner with product teams, security and compliance stakeholders, and data officers, driving risk-informed decisions with AI-assisted workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technology risk management, cybersecurity, or a related field with regulatory focus.
• Experience in data-driven risk analysis to inform decisions.
• Proficient use of enterprise AI for risk/workflow contexts with validation.
• Ability to review AI-generated risk summaries for security and auditability.
• Familiarity with risk management frameworks and financial industry regulations.
• Proven ability to influence executive decisions and translate tech insights to business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Identify, quantify, communicate, and manage technology risk with root cause analysis.
• Use AI capabilities to accelerate synthesis of risk evidence and draft executive-ready reporting.
• Build relationships with LOB technologists, assessments teams, and data officers for cross-functional collaboration.
• Execute reporting and governance of controls, policies, issue management, and metrics.
• Monitor and evaluate control effectiveness; recommend enhancements to strengthen risk posture.
• Promote reuse-first, AI-assisted control testing with human review and alignment to auditability.
