Job summary

Referment, a banking technology company, seeks a Senior Technical Product Manager to define the core platform roadmap and collaborate with Engineering leadership on data consistency, performance at scale and developer experience.

You’ll translate bank and developer feedback into platform capabilities, including APIs and end-to-end user journeys for financial products, working with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management at a product-led technology company.
• Ability to reason from first principles about complex system behaviour.
• Strong client-facing communication with enterprise architects/CTOs.
• Comfort with Python scripting and learning new concepts.
• Commercial judgement aligning platform decisions with customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the core platform strategy and roadmap across API and developer workflows.
• Collaborate with Engineering leadership on API design, performance and resilience trade-offs.
• Represent banks and developers in product decisions to prioritize platform capabilities.
• Coordinate with Client Services and implementations to align client requirements.
• Communicate product vision to internal teams and clients to drive adoption and outcomes.
• Develop product management practices with Engineering Managers and embed them across the platform.
