Job summary

Referment is seeking a senior Product Architect to own end-to-end solution design for its flagship analytics platform. The role partners with engineering leadership to shape architectural direction and ensure scalable, auditable calculations for regulated institutions.

You will bridge business intent and technical execution, turning complex requirements into actionable designs and challenging assumptions across product, quant and engineering before implementation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in fintech, capital markets software, or solution architecture.
• Strong understanding of the derivative trade lifecycle from frontend to back-office.
• Experience translating business needs into functional and technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and product requirements into end-to-end designs with stakeholders.
• Decompose complex features into implementable solutions and surface risks.
• Refine requirements, user stories, flows and acceptance criteria before engineering execution.
• Produce design artifacts such as logical designs, workflows and interface specs.
• Own platform architecture: clear boundaries, APIs and reusable capabilities.
• Assess impact on data models, analytics, deployments and future evolution.
• Address non-functional requirements including scalability and SaaS readiness.
• Facilitate design decisions across product, quant and engineering, including AI integration.
